As part of its continued growth and expansion of its biosimilars portfolio in Germany, the company is currently seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial National Sales Manager (m/f/d) to further develop and lead its national sales organization.

In this key leadership role, you will take full responsibility for the commercial success of the German sales organization, combining strategic sales leadership with hands-on operational excellence in a complex, regulated market environment.

1) Your Responsibilities

  • Lead and steer the national sales organization: take full ownership for strategy and execution across Germany; lead Regional Sales Managers, Key Account Managers and field teams (approx. 40 employees); translate commercial priorities into clear territory, customer and action plans with strong in-field presence.
  • Drive sales performance & commercial excellence: deliver national revenue and volume targets; own sales planning, forecasting and performance tracking; identify market trends and growth opportunities in the biosimilars environment; ensure rigorous execution of territory strategies and sales KPIs.
  • Shape customer and market strategy: build and deepen long-term relationships with key customers, distributors and relevant stakeholders; provide market and field insights to cross-functional leadership; co-create integrated sales, pricing and go-to-market strategies.
  • Develop people and ensure compliance: coach and develop leaders and teams through clear goals, feedback and performance management; ensure full compliance with legal, ethical and internal standards; manage budgets, resources and HR topics in close collaboration with internal partners.

2) Your Profile

  • Expertise & experience: many years of leadership experience in pharmaceutical sales in Germany, ideally with exposure to biosimilars or generics; proven track record in leading decentralized sales organizations via another management-level in regulated markets; strong commercial and strategic capabilities.
  • Commercial & analytical strength: clear understanding of sales planning, forecasting, CRM systems and performance management; strong business acumen combined with the ability to translate strategy into disciplined execution.
  • Leadership & personality: modern, confident leader with strong coaching skills; able to motivate, develop and align teams through change; communicates clearly and credibly with internal and external stakeholders; high integrity and compliance mindset.
  • International & operational readiness: fluent German and English; comfortable working in an international matrix organization; willingness to travel nationally and maintain regular field and stakeholder presence.
