The ideal candidate is a hands-on, entrepreneurial, and operationally strong leader with a solid automotive background and a deep understanding of the interior manufacturing value chain.
We are seeking an individual with broad operational experience across supply chain management, production, and plant operations — someone pragmatic, reliable, and grounded, demonstrating high integrity and a down-to-earth leadership style. The environment in Mexico comprises a capable organization of more than 1.500 employees, supported by a strong local management team including a potential plant manager and an experienced CFO.
Key Responsibilities
- Full strategic and operational leadership of the Mexican entity
- Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing management team
- Ensure revenue, profitability, and sustainable growth
- Define and implement profitable, customer-focused strategies
- Drive organizational transformation and optimization with focus on efficiency, competitiveness, and profitability
- Collaborate closely with international managing directors and the German headquarters
- Promote a culture of innovation, process excellence, and change-readiness
- Increase resilience in light of geopolitical and economic uncertainties
Professional Qualifications
- University degree in Business Administration, Industrial- or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent field
- Several years of leadership experience as CEO, COO, or Managing Director in the automotive interieur, supplier, or related industry
- Proven track record in managing production and transformation organizations
- Strong strategic thinking combined with a hands-on operational focus
- International management experience, ideally bridging Mexican and German business environments
- Deep understanding of the North and South American markets and Mexican business culture
- Documented success in turnaround, profitability, efficiency, or change management projects
- Fluency in German, English, and Spanish
