
Your responsibilities
In this executive leadership role, reporting directly to the Chairman of the Board, you will play a key role in shaping and driving the foundation’s strategic direction and operational performance. Working closely with the Board of Directors, Advisory Board, governance bodies, and senior management, you will oversee the foundation’s business and the two main philanthropic programs, Freedom in Practice and Clinical Cancer Research, contributing to aligned and impactful outcomes.
- Crafting, articulating, and executing long-term strategies that propel the foundation's business performance, in order to accomplish the mission to foster greater freedom, prosperity, and innovative advances in cancer research
- Enhancing and safeguarding the foundation’s reputation and external networks by nurturing strong, trust-based partnerships with key stakeholders, affiliated organizations, and the foundation’s financial subsidiary
- Championing a workplace culture marked by collaboration, inclusiveness, empowerment, and shared responsibility within an environment that embraces a familial spirit
- Driving operational and fiscal excellence through meticulous oversight of cross-divisional coordination, resource management, budget compliance, performance evaluation and strategic management of service providers to maximize impact and sustainability
Your profile
You are a decisive and articulate visionary with a proven track record in senior leadership roles within the philanthropic sectors (foundation or family office). Your expertise includes comprehensive knowledge of relevant Swiss regulatory and governance frameworks, combined with strong strategic acumen, excellent communication abilities, and proven aptitude for managing diverse stakeholder relationships. Ideally, you also bring significant experience working in or with the USA, understanding its philanthropic landscape and cultural nuances.
