The Company:

Our Client is a well-established international B2B industrial organization with long-standing operations across Europe, delivering high-quality packaging solutions to globally recognized brands. The Company operates within a structured and process-oriented environment, strongly driven by German organizational culture, operational discipline, quality standards, and long-term business stability. As part of an international group, key strategic decisions and overall business direction are defined at headquarters level, while the local organization is expected to operate with a high level of accountability and independence in day-to-day business management. The business is characterized by a dynamic production environment based on multiple customized product batches and short production series delivered to various international clients, requiring strong operational coordination, flexibility, and the ability to make pragmatic decisions locally in a fast-changing environment.


The Role:

This is a leadership role with responsibility for a complex and sizeable production organization where quality, timeliness, and consistency of delivery are critical to meeting the expectations of demanding business customers. The role requires a strong focus on operational decision-making, process stability, and team leadership. The ultimate objective is to ensure that the site consistently delivers the right product, at the right time, and in the right quality standards expected by international and local B2B customers.


The Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a large-scale industrial production site with full accountability for operational performance, safety standards, and financial results within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality products in line with customer requirements, while maintaining strong focus on efficiency, reliability, and on-time execution across all production processes.
  • Drive a strong safety-first culture, ensuring full compliance with HSE standards and embedding health, safety, and environmental responsibility across all levels of the organization.
  • Act as a key interface between the local site, Group headquarters, and other production facilities, ensuring transparent communication, alignment on strategic priorities, and effective execution of Group standards.
  • Lead and develop a large, diverse workforce in a highly integrated local environment, fostering engagement, accountability, and performance culture in a setting where the plant plays a significant role in the local community.
  • Champion operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring sustainable productivity gains, cost efficiency, and long-term competitiveness of the site.

The Requirements:

  • Proven experience in leading large-scale industrial production sites with full responsibility for operational performance, ideally in environments with 400+ employees or more
  • Experience gained in structured, process-driven manufacturing organizations, preferably within German or family-owned industrial companies operating as established market leaders in their sectors.
  • Strong track record in managing end-to-end plant operations with full accountability for safety, quality, production efficiency, cost control, and overall financial performance.
  • Solid exposure to international manufacturing environments, with proven ability to operate effectively and collaborate with corporate headquarters, other production sites, and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent command of English, combined with strong communication and stakeholder management skills, enabling effective cooperation across diverse operational and cultural settings.
  • Structured, disciplined, and reliability-driven working style, with a strong sense of responsibility, respect for established processes, and a preference for long-term operational stability, consistency, and precise decision-making within a German industrial environment.
