To support its further expansion into external business, the company has established the new position of Head of Global Clients and Solutions. The aim is to systematically drive forward acquisitions and develop innovative solutions for complex reinsurance issues. The focus is on building customer relationships in growth markets, particularly in Asia.
Head of Global Clients and Solutions (m/f/d)
Responsibility for external client acquisition and international business development

Your responsibilities:

In this key role, you will be responsible for international customer acquisition and the strategic expansion of the international reinsurance portfolio. With your focus on customer development and market penetration, you will shape the future of the company's global customer landscape. Your responsibilities will also include the following activities:

• Drive global client engagement and acquisition activities with a focus on Asian markets

• Lead efforts in identifying and converting new business opportunities in international markets

• Design tailored reinsurance solutions and actively shape contract structures

• Define and sharpen market positioning through innovative value propositions and thought leadership

• Ensure operational excellence through cross-functional collaboration with Underwriting, Actuarial, Finance, and IT

• Represent the company at international events and expand the professional network

• Coordinate regular status updates with leadership and align business efforts with group strategy

Your qualifications:

You are a well-connected and communicative professional with a deep understanding of the reinsurance business. You bring several years of experience in the reinsurance industry, with a strong background in underwriting and client relationship management. In addition, you possess a well-established international network, preferably with strong connections to the Asian market. You combine strategic thinking, client orientation, and executional strength, paired with the personality to move things forward. Furthermore, the following qualifications and characteristics are required:

• Proven success in business development and client acquisition

• Strategic and entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to bring a viable business plan to the table

• Extensive understanding of reinsurance products, pricing, contract design and profitability

• Proven ability to design and implement strategic, client-centric solutions aimed at expanding the portfolio

• IT affinity and ability to operate in a lean, hands-on team environment

• Fluent in English; other languages are a plus

• Willingness to travel internationally

• Confident communication and negotiation skills at C-level
