The Role:

This role entails substantial responsibility, overseeing and managing the company's operations across various markets. It involves leading teams responsible for business operations and transport planning, customer communication, subcontractor management, and process optimization. The primary objective is to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading, motivating, and developing the team responsible for Central Eastern Europe business operations and transport planning
• Maintaining relationships with customers and suppliers
• Selecting, developing, maintaining, and managing subcontractors both within and outside Central Eastern European countries based on economic and qualitative perspectives
• Coordinating the transportation of goods and services to consistently meet delivery deadlines and optimize transport costs
• Optimizing scheduling and business processes to enhance efficiency and profitability

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of professional experience, ideally on a managerial position in the disposition department of an international freight forwarding company, with prior business excellence project management and optimization background
• Deep understanding of the freight forwarding industry and its specific requirements in the Central Eastern European market
• People leadership qualities and influential skills
• Strong analytical thinking skills and the ability to effectively interpret data
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Experience in using branch-specific software solutions and MS-Office package
• Delivery-focused, pragmatic with agile and flexible mindset
