Head of Supply Chain Management (m/f/d)

Tasks and responsibilities: 
  • Overall responsible for (capacity) planning, company-wide timetable management, purchase of raw materials and costings across several international production and warehouse locations
  • Ensure an efficient, stable and flexible supply chain from development until products are available at customers 
  • Continuation of developing internal processes from procurement of raw materials until delivery of products 
  • Development of the employees and ensure these are working to fulfil overall company and department goals
  • Establishment and optimization of long-term capacity planning as well as seasonable and operational planning, thereby ensuring that capacities are utilized to the extent possible considering development timetables, forecast, and actual sales production capabilities of partners 
  • Responsible for the control and management of the areas from purchase through planning and logistics between the international suppliers, production facilities and production warehouses of the entire value chain 
  • Continual process analysis, control and management of the complete supply chain, followed by corrective actions 
  • Ensure seasonable timetables are created across the company and communicated to all
  • Purchase of raw materials and development of production as well as raw material suppliers in accordance with the sustainability ambition
  • Ensure that technical documentation is made in accordance with overall timeline for products and that data quality is maintained at a high level 
  • Evaluate and improve the current lead-times and timetables
  • Budget responsible for area of responsibility including working capital of raw materials, work in progress and finished products 

Professional and personal qualifications:
  • Several years of experience in a SCM leadership role in a complex manufacturing environment, ideally in a combination of SME as well as corporate experience
  • Documented track record of planning and/or purchasing roles in an international setting
  • Experience working with seasonality is highly preferred, lean knowledge is an advantage
  • Convincing communicator and change manager with pronounced analytical and negotiation skills 
  • Process oriented team player and proven project manager showing holistic and strategic thinking 
  • Willingness to travel as well as excellent German and English language proficiency are a prerequisite 

For this exciting challenge, a gross annual salary of approx. € 80,000,- or a remuneration in line with the market depending on your experience and qualification profile is foreseen.
