Country Manager (m/f/d) Germany
Responsibilities:

The Country Manager Germany position will be a new role emphasizing the importance of the regional market as well as the ambitious, yet sustainable growth plan of the company. The future incumbent will take full responsibility for the company’s activities as well as it’s development and growth in the region.

  • Manage growth, team and operations in Germany
    • Build-up, lead, manage and develop a truly passionate and empowered local team (operational & functional) to drive the company’s business and growth (organic and through acquisitions) in Germany
    • Drive business development of all businesses and a strong customer-focused culture, manage and further develop business unit managers
    • Monitor the activities of all entities in Germany, identify and realize synergies, define a strategy to grow beyond current activity and perimeter
  • Manage relations with current customers
    • Manage relations as well as prepare and attend key meetings with customers
    • Understand customer's needs and adjust the company's value proposition accordingly
    • Identify and execute customer centric improvements and drive a culture of continuous improvement
  • Manage P&L
    • Take over full accountability for operations and performance of the business in Germany
    • Define budget in conjunction with the group and execute budgetary controls
    • Follow performance and identify potential gaps as well as take action to ensure financial performance

Requirements:
  • University degree in engineering or a technical discipline or a comparable qualification.
  • Extensive and proven experience in a general management or business unit leadership role, preferably gained on an international stage within asset integrity management or comprehensive consulting business/services industry
  • Ideally familiar with gas & oil transportation systems as well as infrastructure and other buildings in both, the public as well as the private sector, combined with a broad network within the relevant community
  • Track record in building up and further develop a B2B business as well as supporting a buy-and-build-strategy
  • Experienced in working within an entrepreneurial environment paired with corporate experience
  • Fluency in German and English language at a business level is mandatory along with a good knowledge of communications best practices, additional European language skills, especially French would be ideal but is not mandatory
  • Willingness to travel as required
