Head of Sales (m/f/d)
As Head of Sales, you will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of the entire sales division of LACROIX Electronics GmbH in Germany / Willich. In this role, you will be responsible for sales development and the development of new markets and business opportunities. You will lead the sales team, develop sales strategies and work closely with management to achieve the company's long-term growth targets.


Key Responsibilities

  • Disciplinary and technical management of a team of 4 employees (3 Account/ Program Managers and Business Development Manager) including coaching, target setting and performance monitoring (KPIs)
  • Developing and implementing the sales strategy in coordination with management to achieve sales and growth targets
  • Proactive acquisition of new customers and business areas in the target sectors energy, defence, industrial, home-automation
  • Maintaining and expanding customer relationships with existing key customers to secure long-term partnerships
  • Analysing market trends, competitive analyses and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Working closely together with the Industrialisation (PM), Product Management and Operations departments to develop customer-centred solutions
  • Responsibility for sales planning, budgeting and forecasting in the sales area
  • Participation in national and international trade fairs and industry events to represent the company
  • Reporting of sales activities and results to the management
  • Technical and commercial negotiations with customers
  • Organisation and management of marketing activities

Experiences and Qualifications

  • Degree in economics, engineering or a comparable qualification (technical knowledge is a must)
  • Several years of experience in a senior sales position, ideally in electronics manufac-turing, EMS or related industries
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing sales strategies and achieving sales targets
  • Strong leadership skills and experience in managing and motivating teams
  • Teamplayer, hands-on, proactive
  • Networking capability (internal/ external)
  • Strong network in the electronics, EMS or renewable energy industry and in-depth knowledge of the market
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both in German and English (French is an advantage)
  • Analytical thinking and entrepreneurial behaviour, coupled with high self-motivation and goal orientation
  • Willingness to travel
