Job responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing the overall financial performance of the company
  • Improvement of the profitability of the organization
  • Perform risk management by analyzing the organization’s liabilities and investments
  • Decide on investment strategies by considering cash and liquidity risks
  • Reliable mid term Cash planning
  • Optimizing our tax position
  • Control and optimize the cash flow in our Chinese organization
  • Ensure a sufficient cost control system in all of our branches and assembly/warehouse units
  • Supervise and control the development of our local JV
  • Supervise all finance personnel (controllers, treasurers etc.)
  • Prepare reliable current and forecasting reports
  • Ensure compliance with the law and company’s policies
  • Lead and develop a team of financial controllers and financial analysts.
  • Close cooperation with the Management Team in China
  • Supporting a direct collaboration with the German HQ

Job specifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, manufacturing, automotive, or related fields
  • BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field; MSc/MBA is a plus
  • Proven senior leadership experience in financial roles in the producing industry, ideally in an international company
  • In depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices
  • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. SAP)
  • Ability to analyze, strategize and solve problems
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • excellent communication skills both in Chinese and English; Japanese / German as a plus
  • flexibility to be based in and work in Shandong province, China
